Devi

DEVI is a video work about the dream as a place where the parts of us that are lost in reality continue to exist. It is a dream of a country in which a piece of my soul remained — an inner reconstruction of something that cannot be returned physically, but continues to live inside. Through a mythologized female deity-figure and a sacred gesture, I explore how desire becomes vision, and how vision becomes a new reality within.
